After the Waters

Some disasters make the news. Others don’t. But for the people who live through them, the losses are real either way.

After the Waters is about a small community in Abuja that woke up to find everything they owned—homes, businesses, memories—washed away in a single night. But more than that, it’s about the resilience of people who refused to let the flood have the last word.

After its release, we launched a fundraising campaign for flood victims—proof that storytelling, when done right, doesn’t just document reality. It changes it.

No Way Home

Everyone knows someone who’s left. Some for opportunity. Some for survival. But what does it really mean to leave home?

Developed under the mentorship of BBC’s Mayeni Jones, No Way Home follows one man in the final days before he migrates—his hopes, his fears, and the unspoken weight of what he’s leaving behind. Filmed during one of Nigeria’s most politically charged moments, this documentary isn’t just about an individual’s journey—it’s about a nation’s crossroads.
From Lagos to Paris, Abuja to Biarritz, the film has traveled as much as its subjects, resonating with audiences across borders.

SALMA

Salma lost her hearing as a child. For years, school wasn’t an option—until one teacher changed everything.

Filmed entirely on a smartphone in Yobe, Northern Nigeria, Salma offers an intimate glimpse into the world of an 11-year-old girl defying the odds. Through her eyes, we see the power of education, resilience, and what it means to be given a chance.
